Clinical: mood disorders (bipolar disorders, treatment resistant depression), adult ADHD, developmental psychiatry. Basic and translational: Biomarker and predictors for bipolar disorder and adult ADHD; genetics of adult ADHD, panic disorder, and bipolar disorder; genetic determinants of emotion regulation and fear conditioning; gene by environment interactions regarding impulsivity and anxiety; neurobiology of nitric oxide and its relation to psychiatric disorders.
